It is important to tell surfers and others about the damage being done to our oceans and coastlines. But, it is far more powerful the SHOW them. As the saying goes..."a picture is worth a thousand words". SHRED uses photography to capture the environmental impacts of plastics, toxins and non-biodegradable materials in an attempt to send an empowering message that we all need to pay attention and do our part to reduce the damage to the ecosystem that allows us our joy of surfing. A single photograph has the power to emit intense feelings and create a change.
